We made pizza faces to talk about our senses and what foods we need to eat to stay healthy. We got to taste the pizza we had made, we found out lots of things about our senses and we used one as the pizza was cooking- smell, it smelt delicious and we couldn't wait to try it.

We made a scarecrow using straw, a hat, a belt, a pair of trousers, a jumper and sticks. We painted the face on the scarecrow. The scarecrow is in the garden to scare the birds away to stop them eating the seeds and the plants.

We got to play on the adventure playground because we got 100% attendance last week which was our first week in Reception.

We made rainbow biscuits using sugar, flour, butter and M&M's. We enjoyed making the biscuits and they tasted yummy! We took them and shared them with our families.

Today we went to the hall to learn circus skills.

We had to make our hand like a spider to make the plate spin. We had to lay our hand straight to balance the feather and if it moved we had to move our hand in that direction. We threw the scarves up into the air and had to try and catch…

We were enjoying the strawberries that we had grown in our garden. They were very juicy.

We invited our families to our rhyme challenge. We sang lots of rhymes our favourites were; 'strong ants', 'five currant buns', 'ten bluebottles' and 'follow follow the silver trail'.

Enjoying the weather at Tatton Park!!

Some of the things we saw during our trip.

We got to hold the butterflies before they flew off.

We held the butterflies on our hands and then we put them onto the flowers watching them fly off.

We now have ten butterflies, they are drying their wings ready to take flight. We are looking after them and will soon be letting them go.
